I am trying to find more information about this particular Trisha. I have read everything I can fin on the internet, including the information from the photographer who found her pictures. Does anyone have any suggestions? Many thanks!

      I found this:
“On the back of the photo, he calls his studio S.N. BANSHUDO, in the SHIBA district of TOKYO. In the Japanese Photographer database published in 2000 by Torin Boyd and Naomi Izakura, there is only one Meiji-era Photographer working in Shiba with the initials S N — SHISUI NARUSE. Okinawa Soba will leave you with that attribution, feeling satisfied that I have connected the dots. Ca.1910 Hand-colored gelatin silver print.”

She is most definitely a mystery. I searched and searched on the internet to find information beyond what was on the internet, and only found an older picture of her in a book. At this point I believe I would have to be in Japan, with someone who reads kanji better than I do, looking at old census records. If you find out anything, let me know. I’d be interested. -Melinda
